Dr. Alpert is a Pediatric Cardiologist, and has been practicing medicine for over 45 years. He began working with the team at CNS Healthcare several years ago, providing cardiology consults and ecg interpretation for our other physicians. He has also conducted numerous blood pressure monitoring device trials with our team over the years.
Dr. Alpert’s experience prior to retirement includes Professorships at the Medical College of Georgia, and the University of TN. He held the Plough Foundation Chair of Excellence. He has served on the Council on High Blood Pressure, and the Council on Cardiovascular Disease in the Young, for the American Heart Association. He has been published extensively in the field of Cardiology.
He was physician chair of the Sphygmomanometer Committee of AAMI and represents the USA on the ISO committee. Additionally he is on the editorial board of the journal, Blood Pressure Monitoring.
