Leeann Carmichael, MSN, FNP-BC
Nurse Practitioner / Sub-Investigator

Leeann Carmichael has been a nurse since 1992. Throughout her career she has cared for a wide range of patients in the specialized areas of oncology, pediatric oncology, diabetes cardiology, prenatal and neonatal, as well as general medical conditions and psychiatry. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, she continues to care for patients with various conditions. Leeann also has over eight years of experience conducting clinical trials. She worked at both St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and the University of Tennessee conducting clinical trials prior to joining us at CNS Healthcare. Leeann has a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree in Nursing and is dually licensed in the State of TN as a Family Practice Nurse and a Registered Nurse.  

Kelly Iskiwitz, BS
Administrative Director

Kelly joined CNS Healthcare during 2003 as a Research Assistant. She has gained extensive experience in all areas of research and clinical trials including data entry, intake, psychological testing, regulatory and QA. She currently oversees all of these areas and is our liaison with our sponsors and monitors.  

Jason Bain, MS
Clinical Research Coordinator

Jason is a Clinical Research Coordinator who received his Master of Science degree in Counseling and his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Memphis. He has ten years of extensive experience working with people living with affective, psychotic, and personality disorders. He has four years of experience working in research and clinical trials.  

Christie Daniels, M Ed
Clinical Research Coordinator

Christie has been working in research and clinical trials since 2007. She has a Master of Science degree in Counseling and experience working with people of all ages dating back to 2001 in both outpatient and inpatient settings.  

Emma Gil, RN
CRC

Emma Gil, RN joined CNS Healthcare in 2011 as a Clinical Research Coordinator. Emma comes to us from Roche Pharmaceuticals, where she worked for the last three years as a Patient Education Specialist, teaching others about the benefits of self-monitoring while on anticoagulation therapy. She also has over fourteen years of experience as an RN in many different areas, including: cardiology, neurology, hematology, orthopedics, labor & delivery, respiratory and urology. In addition to all of this, she also worked for four years as the Program/Clinic Nurse and Case Manager at the Perkins School for the Blind, where she cared for children who are blind and have developmental and emotional disabilities.  

Melissa McMahon, LPN
Clinical Research Coordinator

Melissa joined us in 2011 as a Clinical Research Coordinator. She has 15 years of experience as a Nurse, having worked in a variety of medical settings including Case Management, Home Healthcare, Psychiatry, Alzheimer’s/Dementia, Cardiac Care, and Allergies, to name just a few. She also served in the US Navy for 13 years.  

Robyn Presley, BS
Clinical Research Coordinator

Robyn joined us in 2001 as a Clinical Research Coordinator. She has 17 years of research experience as a Research Coordinator for numerous diseases of the central nervous system. She graduated from Southwest Baptist University with degrees in psychology and sociology. Her graduate work at the University of North Texas was in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis on aging. She is the past President of the Memphis chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.  

Dwyane Sheppard, MEd
Clinical Research Coordinator

Dwyane joined CNS Healthcare in 2007. He received his Master of Education degree in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Fort Valley State University. He has 14 years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient community mental health counseling. He has three years of experience working in research and clinical trials.
