Patricia Brown, PhD, ARNP
Clinical Administrator & Sub Investigator
Dr. Brown is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years psychiatric experience and has been in private practice since 1984. She is certified in both adult and child/adolescent psychiatric/mental health nursing. She joined CNS Healthcare in 2004 and joined the Orlando Research team in 2008. She earned her PhD focusing in clinical research from University of Miami and has conducted over 75 clinical trials. She has been published extensively in the fields of psychiatry and quality in research, and has presented at numerous scientific gatherings.
Shawna Martin, MA
Administrative Director
Shawna earned a Master’s Degree in Psychology from University of Saint Mary in 2000. She has over 12 years experience working with a variety of populations including adults, children, adolescents and geriatrics in both mental health and medical/neurology settings. Shawna also has experience in administering and interpreting many psychological tests and assessments. Shawna has been working with subjects in clinical trials since 2001.
Letitia Griffin, RN, BSN
Prescreener
Letitia is a Registered Nurse with more than 14 years of experience in psychiatric and medical/surgical nursing. She also has over 10 years of management and administrative experience in acute care hospitals, as well as outpatient psychiatric and long-term care facilities. Letitia also assisted with the management of clinical trials on an inpatient unit she managed for 10 years. Letitia joined CNS Healthcare in 2009.
Sue Jenkins, RN, CCRC
Clinical Research Coordinator
Sue is a Registered Nurse with approximately 30 years of experience in psychiatric nursing. She is a graduate of Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Canton, OH. She has been involved in research since 1998. She has been a pivotal member of our team since joining us in 1998. She is also a certified clinical research coordinator.
Brad Littlejohn, MA, LMHC
Clinical Research Coordinator
Brad is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who received his degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida in 2000. Brad has over 10 years of experience working in the psychiatric/mental health field in both hospital and outpatient settings with children, adolescents and adults.
Evelyn Luciano, RN, MA
Clinical Research Coordinator
Evelyn received a Bachelor of Science with honors in Nursing from the Catholic University of Puerto Rico and Master's Degree with honors in Counseling from Rollins College. She also received certification in cultural competence from the National Multicultural Institute, Washington, DC. Evelyn has been a health service provider, speaker and advocate for diverse, undeserved and marginalized populations over 25 years.
Penny O'Neal, RN, CCRC
Clinical Research Coordinator
Penny is a Registered Nurse with 22 years of experience in psychiatric nursing. She is a certified psychiatric nurse and a graduate of Indiana Vocational Technical College in Richmond, Indiana. She has been involved in research since 1998, just before joining us in 1999. She is also a certified clinical research coordinator.
Deborah Renner, BSN, CCRC
Clinical Trials Nurse
Deborah has been a member of the CNS Healthcare team since 2002. She graduated from University of Florida College of Nursing in 1975, she has over 38 years of nursing experience in the psychiatric and medical fields in the capacity of staff to Director of Nursing. She currently is managing our medical trials and she is also a certified clinical research coordinator.
Wendy Sloan, MS, LMHC
Clinical Research Coordinator
Wendy is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Florida State University and Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southern University. Wendy has worked with adults, adolescents and children with mental health issues for over 10 years and she has extensive experience in the area of psychological testing.
Amy West, RN
Clinical Research Coordinator
Amy is a Registered Nurse with 6 years of experience in psychiatric nursing. She graduated from Western Michigan University with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She has been involved in research since 2006.
Josephine Wheeler, RN
Clinical Research Coordinator
Jo is a Registered Nurse who has over 32 years experience. She started her nursing career in a Family Practice Office with patients who had a wide variety of medical issues.
She has also worked in research since 2000 with both inpatient and outpatient clinical trials. Her research expertise lies with psychiatric diagnosis and ADHD.
Nema Lambo, BS
Phlebotomist
Nema has a Bachelor’s of Science in Medical Technology. She has worked in healthcare for over 20 years. She has been with CNS Healthcare managing the laboratory for 10 years. She is an experienced phlebotomist and ECG technician.
Becka Hummel
Regulatory/QA Manager
Becka has a BA in Biology. She has 9 years of clinical research experience and has been with CNS Healthcare in the QA/Regulatory department for 5 years.
Brandi Bowman
Office Manager
Brandi has a Bachelor’s degree in Holistic Nutrition and over 10 years of experience working in the healthcare field. Before joining CNS Healthcare in 2010, she managed doctors’ offices in New York City, Philadelphia, and Orlando.
Natasha Mata
Recruitment Manager
Natasha graduated with a B.S. in Psychology from Florida State University and has been part of the CNS Healthcare team since September 2011. As the Recruitment Manager for the Orlando office, she focuses on providing information about our clinical research studies to interested participants via telephone and community events and communicates with local clinics and physicians to refer patients.
Angela Menosky
Assistant Coordinator
Angela has been a certified Medical Assistant since 2008. She has extensive experience with all aspects of blood draws, assessing vitals and completing EKG’s. She is well versed in electronic data capture and other technical aspects of clinical drug trials. She is currently pursuing an RN degree.
Jenni O
Research Assistant
Jenni joined CNS Healthcare in 2012 as a research assistant. She is involved in both the front office and the regulatory department. Currently, she is working on her BS in Health Service Administration with concentration on Health Sciences at the University of Central Florida.
